Regulated supplier (RS)
Helping companies obtain and keep regulated supplier status, from the first application to renewal.
Who needs it?
A regulated supplier delivers in-flight supplies directly to the aircraft. Its procedures meet security requirements well enough to allow this direct delivery. The status applies to companies that supply airlines and hand over the products on board themselves.
Main steps
Approval is granted by the relevant authorities for a limited period, based on the company's security program and how it is applied. It is then subject to regular inspections and must be renewed.
1. Security program
Organization and security manager, protection of supplies from preparation to delivery on board, staff training, internal quality control.
2. Compliance
Securing premises and vehicles, access control, seals, background checks, staff training.
3. Review
The relevant authorities review the file, then check the site.
4. Approval
Granted for a limited period, with regular checks, then renewed.
